How to maintain and service the Oil filter?(01)

After using various filters for a period of time, the efficiency and resistance of the filters will decrease due to dust captured on the surface of the filter material, affecting the cleanliness of the air supply. At this time, the filters need to be replaced in time. During transportation, installation and use, they must be carried out in accordance with the requirements to ensure the use effect.
- Before installing various filters, it is not allowed to open the packaging bags or packaging films; and the filters should be stored in the direction marked on the packaging box; during transportation, they should be handled and placed gently to avoid severe vibration and collision.
- For high-efficiency filters, the installation direction must be correct: when the corrugated plate combination filter is installed vertically, the corrugated plate must be perpendicular to the ground; the connection between the filter and the frame in the vertical direction is strictly prohibited from leakage, deformation, damage and glue leakage, etc. After installation, the inner wall must be kept clean, free of floating dust, oil stains, rust and debris.
- Inspection method: observation or white silk cloth wiping inspection.
- Before installing the high-efficiency filter, the clean room must be thoroughly cleaned and wiped clean. If there is dust accumulation inside the purification filter air conditioning system, it should be cleaned and wiped clean again to meet the cleaning requirements. If a high-efficiency filter is installed in a technical mezzanine or ceiling, the technical layer or ceiling should also be thoroughly cleaned and wiped.
- The transportation and storage of high-efficiency filters should be placed in the direction of the manufacturer’s logo. During transportation, they should be handled with care to prevent severe vibration and collision. Rough loading and unloading is not allowed.
- Before installing the high-efficiency filter, the package must be unpacked at the installation site for appearance inspection, including: whether the filter paper, sealant and frame are damaged; whether the side length, diagonal and thickness dimensions meet the requirements; whether the frame has burrs and rust (metal frame); whether there is a product certificate, and whether the technical performance meets the design requirements. Then check according to the methods specified in the national standard “Clean Room Construction and Acceptance Specifications” [JGJ71-90], and those that are qualified should be installed immediately.
- For high-efficiency filters used in clean rooms with cleanliness levels equal to and higher than Class 100, leak detection should be carried out according to the methods specified in the “Clean Room Construction and Acceptance Specifications” [JGJ71-90] before installation, and they should meet the specified requirements.
- When installing a high-efficiency filter, the arrow on the outer frame should be consistent with the direction of the airflow; when it is installed vertically, the direction of the filter paper fold should be perpendicular to the ground.
- When installing a coarse-effect flat or folded filter, the galvanized mesh surface should be on the back of the air outlet.
When installing a bag filter, the length of the filter bag should be perpendicular to the ground, and the filter bag should not be installed parallel to the ground;
- Under normal use conditions, flat, folded coarse or medium-efficiency filters are generally replaced once every 1-2 months. After replacing the filter material, it can be soaked and rinsed with clean water containing detergent, then dried and replaced; generally, after rinsing 1-2 times, a new filter must be replaced to ensure filtration efficiency.
