What need do before restarting the central air conditioner?

01 Power on and preheat before turning on:
In spring, if the central air conditioner is not used for a long time, the power supply of the indoor and outdoor units needs to be turned off. If you are going to use the central air conditioner again, it is recommended to power on the indoor and outdoor units one day in advance, so that the compressor can be preheated to prevent the compressor from being in “operation restriction” due to insufficient preheating of the lubricating oil, which affects the use of the unit.
After the fault detection is correct, the power can be turned on for testing. After the air conditioner is powered on after the power is plugged in again, the display will light up, the air guide plate will reset, and a slight turning sound will be made. Turn on the cooling mode and run for a few minutes to observe whether it runs normally and smoothly.
02 Check the refrigeration system:
The refrigeration system is the core of the air conditioner. It is generally composed of multiple subsystems such as the compressor, condenser, evaporator, and throttling device. Any problem in any detail will affect the cooling effect of the air conditioner. Therefore, checking the normal operation of the refrigeration system before turning it on is the top priority to ensure the working effect of the air conditioner.
How to check the refrigeration system: When checking the central air conditioner refrigeration system, all indoor units should be turned on in cooling mode, the temperature should be set to 18℃, and the machine should be turned on continuously for 0.5 hours. During this period, the air conditioner must be fully loaded. During this period, use a thermometer to monitor the outlet temperature. If the outlet temperature of the indoor unit is higher than 15℃, the inspection time needs to be extended to continue monitoring whether the temperature drops below 15℃. If the high temperature is maintained continuously, it may be due to a failure of a subsystem, causing the central air conditioning refrigeration system to be abnormal. It is necessary to contact a professional team for repair in time.
03 Clean the filter in advance for disinfection:
Before turning on the air conditioner, it is best to deep clean the air conditioner that has been idle for a quarter. Because after the central air conditioner has been used for a long time, the filter is prone to dust accumulation, which not only leads to a decrease in air volume and increased power consumption; it will also wear out internal parts over time, aggravate the aging of the air conditioner, and shorten its service life; the air blown out is also unhygienic, affecting the health of the family.
